Getting started

How subscribing works.

Three steps from signing up to a working subscription, and what to do afterwards when you want to change plan, update a card or stop. If you have just created an account, step 2 is where you are now.

The three steps

1. Create your account

Sign up with your email and a password. One adult account holds the whole family, so a parent or guardian signs up, not the student.

2. Verify your email

We send you a link. Open it to confirm the address is yours, and your account opens straight away. Nothing else is needed from you at this point.

3. Choose your plan

Sign in, open your Account page, pick a billing period and choose a plan. You are taken to Stripe to pay, and your access opens up as soon as the payment confirms.

You can pick a plan on the pricing page before you sign up, but nothing is charged until step 3, and you can change your mind about which plan you want at any point before then.

What each plan unlocks

Prices are on the pricing page, in Australian dollars. Monthly and yearly billing are both available, and you can move between them later.

Paying

Choosing a plan sends you to Stripe, our payment provider, on their own secure page. We never see or store your card number. If you have a promotion code, enter it there before you confirm.

Once the payment confirms you are returned to your Account page and the rest of the platform unlocks. That last step is automatic, though it can take a few seconds to catch up. If something still looks locked after a minute, refresh the page.

Changing, pausing or cancelling

Everything after your first payment happens in one place: the Manage billing button on your Account page. It opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can switch between Core Mathematics and Complete Mathematics, change your billing period, update or replace your card, download past invoices, and cancel.

Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep full access until then and are not charged again. Switching plan mid-period is pro-rated automatically. The details, including how billing errors are handled, are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Common questions

Who is allowed to create an account?

Only adults. Creating an account means agreeing to Terms that require you to be 18 or over, and we record that agreement against your account. Children never hold an account of their own - they are profiles under an adult's, with no email, no photo and no way to upload anything. Your account opens as soon as you confirm your email address.

Where do I actually pay?

Sign in, then open your Account page from the menu. The Subscription section at the top has a billing period selector and a button for each plan. Choosing one takes you to Stripe.

Do you store my card details?

No. Payment happens on Stripe's own hosted page and your card never touches our servers. If you have a promotion code, you enter it there too.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. If your account has never had a plan, your Account page offers a 14-day free trial with everything in Complete Mathematics and no card required. It is one trial per account.

How do I cancel?

Open your Account page and choose Manage billing. That opens the Stripe portal, where you can cancel in a couple of clicks. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
