Why we built it
Maths makes sense when someone explains why.
Too often maths is taught as a list of steps to memorise - do this, then this, and hope the right answer falls out. Miss one step and the whole thing stops making sense.
PiGrids teaches it the way a mathematician actually sees it: as ideas that connect. Every unit moves in the same honest order - a concept, then a worked example, then a quick check - so understanding comes first and the answer follows from it. That is the whole design, from your first years of primary right through to a senior exam.
Who's behind it
Built by a physicist, for the love of maths.
PiGrids was founded by a researcher with a PhD in Quantum Theoretical Physics - a field where maths isn't a set of procedures but the language you think in. That's the perspective behind every explanation: not just how to reach the answer, but why it works.
It's built on a simple conviction - that any student can find maths clear, and even beautiful, when it's taught with care and in the right order.
